I thought I had a bunch of 2 pin US/Japanese AC cables, but can't find them.
I'm after a short one, basically like this except two pin US not NZ. The kind you would get with a camera charger or something.
Does anybody have anything?

1.8 meters too long? Every computer shop will be able to get this one from CDL:

- 2 meters. You've not mentioned location.
He wants the US plug to Figure 8 not NZ/AU to Figure 8.
I would also like one it someone has a few lying around.

Regularly between Japan and NZ for the last 20 years, I've found a pair of pliers works great to make the two pins parallel. Not sure how legally compliant this would be though...

Thanks for the replies, I will try the plier trick at the weekend! Oh, and by short I mean 30cm ish. 1.8m counts as standard or long in my book!
phrozenpenguin:Well it took a while but after turning the house upside down I found the cables. One is def US but C13 & three pronged.

Appreciate you looking but that won't work for my use - both ends are wrong! Useful if you want to use a kettle in the US though?!

@phrozenpenguin … I have a couple like you are after, but shortest is 1.7m.
Welcome to one if you want.
Have you simply looked somewhere like Amazon? Plenty of low cost options for short cables that ship to NZ.
Thanks all. After a bunch of testing I have found the inverter I was using (and requiring the cable for) doesn't do what I need it to do reliably. So no need for a cable now.
