This machine came out of a corporate environment. The internal drive has been replaced by an Intel 120G SSD and it has an activated copy of Win10 Pro on it.

C2D with 4G RAM and DVD drive. Still seems to be quite snappy. I am wondering if my local primary school could use this? No WiFi but a cheap WiFi USB card doesn't cost much. Of course I would not charge for it.

Staying in Wellington. Check out my AirBnB in the Wellington CBD.  https://www.airbnb.co.nz/h/wellycbd  PM me and mention GZ to get a 15% discount and no AirBnB charges.

Imo depends on the size of the school. Large schools will want to standardise hardware for ease of support. A tiny school might have a need and a place to squeeze it in. Individual teachers might have a different perspective compared to IT.

The primary school my kids went to didn't want it since they are all Apple😣. What is the world coming to!

I just completed the latest Windows 10 update on it and it runs really well. The SSD really helps. I might try my local preschool.
