Heya, I'm after a super cheap / crap (pref free) router to act as a WiFi access point in the garage so a WiFi speaker gets coverage. WiFi speaker has average WiFi strength and doesn't connect to the router in the house (laptops reach the house WiFi fine). Don't care about the quality/speed of the router (hence free would be ideal) as I'll just daisy chain it to my network (yeh I know this is cheap and nasty) as have ethernet in the garage. Anyone got one sitting in a box gathering dust?

Can easily pickup on the North Shore

Cheers

May check out this post?  The $15 Powerline Wifi extender (#30) would likely suit your requirement?
