Any size is fine, prefer one with excellent battery life, minimal scratches and has never been repaired or opened.

These are hard to find in NZ.   I enquired through Geekzone as you have with zero responses.  I bought one from Good Tech (current range for 3rd gen 64 Gb is Refurbished and Pre-owned iPhones – GoodTech) and the phone I received, though not advertised as new, was listed by Apple as manufactured 6 months prior to purchase.  This is my first Iphone purchase, having owned Android phones prior to this, and I am very happy with both my Iphone SE 3rd gen and with the service I got from Good Tech.

The SE 3rd gen is a 13 in an 8 (from memory) case - very good value if you want the A15 chip grunt in a small profile phone.  Unexpectedly I was able to retain my Google apps (such as maps and contacts) so did not have to migrate any core Google app functionality to apple app equivalents as I expected to have to do).  So I use my SE with very nearly the same Apple versions of Android apps.  Vey cool and unexpectedly easy.
