WTB: Senior 4G phone, buttons not touchscreen, something super simple just for making and receiving calls, good battery life, camera ok but not required, prefer not locked to any one provider. PM if you have something. Also open to recommendations on new devices.

Not a reccomendation per se, but One may have some that fit the bill here. You'd need to pay an extra $30 to unlock for other carriers (for the first 9 months??), and also double check supported bands for other carriers.

My 80-year-old neighbour loves his Alcatel Flip (in the link above), but that's just a normal (at one time) phone with a form factor that makes it easier to use by people who can't deal well with fondle phones. However, you can also get ones specifically made for seniors, although some may find some of the "features" a bit condescending. If you don't mind off-brand ones, there's a ton available, many for well under $100.

Thought this looked a bit easier to press numbers than the Nokias with the tiny buttons at the bottom. Also has a decent size screen.

https://parallelimported.co.nz/nokia-2660-flip-mobile-phone/ some cheaper locked versions of this.
