I have a Kogan annual plan for sale, brought during Black Friday deals. I was to late in activating the code and they auto renewed my plan (at full price). Kogan were unable to help, this plan (15gb month) is now surplus to requirements.

Price $160 for 12 months, must be activated in Dec.

Cheers

That’s frustrating that they were unwilling to help in that situation - how soon after the mistaken auto renewal did you contact them? I had better luck when I accidentally purchased an annual plan for my son, as I had meant to switch him to pay-monthly (waiting for the next special!) - they were totally obliging in cancelling and refunding that.

Personally, though, I always cancel any auto-renewal at the earliest possibility - I think this can be immediately upon entering the voucher code and setting up the plan. For others that can’t be done immediately I put a reminder in a calendar as I hate the idea of plans rolling over at full price!

It was very frustrating, I noted the payment from my credit card the day after.

Their not helpful response:

Thanks for contacting Kogan Mobile.

As per your query, we would like to share that auto-renewal is enabled by default when you sign up for the plan. Please see the details here.

We would like to inform that all our plans are non-refundable either you purchase or it gets auto-renewed. For more information please click here.

Also, if you do not wish to renew your plan automatically, request you to please disable it from your Kogan Mobile customer dashboard.

Please let us know if you need any further assistance.
