As per title, looking for an aftermarket CPU air cooler to fit my recently acquired QX9650 or if anyone has a leftover Noctua mounting kit for LGA 775 that could be reused with a newer Noctua air cooler.

It is for a 2007-08 era XP restomod gaming build, so the more exotic looking the better!

Ah you wouldn't believe how many of those I have thrown out (i.e. taken to e-waste).

Good luck with your search!

How about this bad boy! Very era appropriate as it only has up to LGA 775 support, no LGA 115x! Brand new in box from another GZer's box of goodies.

Has a fan speed controller and a Blue LED fan for extra bling! Although "brand new in box" it seems to be missing the heatsink retention clip, (think AM3 style), however I do have a similar 115x fan that has the same style clip that could be modded to fit and work. PM me if interested.

Thanks for the offers folks, I have since procured a Cooler Master Hyper 212x new in box from TradeMe.

I also managed to pickup another 775 board with a Zalman CNPS9500, which is reputedly not a performer but at the very least, looks cool!
