hi there,

looking to get my hands on a cheap working amd athlon x2 4800+ or higher, even phenom will do.

Also looking at buying a cheap pci-e graphics card, if Nvidia, then must be 8600 GT or higher or if ATI, then must be 3850 or higher.

Hi ya, I have a 4800 on a asus A8N-SLI mobo (heat piped version) with a zalman ulra flower heatsink. I had it as a HTPC for a while, but recently replaced the lot. Oh yeah its got 4 sets of ram which i guess is 4 gig. Make me an offer I canny refuse

Arrr, I am SO out of touch of what stuff is worth, but how does $250 for the lot sound. I would prefer to keep it all together, rather than sell the CPU on its own. The heat sink is still attached and it's a working unit as is.

The heatsink set me back $80 on its own

thx but was looking only at the CPU. However maybe if you give me some more detailed spec like model, and other imp details, i might consider the lot.

It's an AMD 4800+ CPU on an Asus A8N-SLI premium motherboard (SPIDIF-Optical and Coax all built in, with HD sound on board etc etc - excellent for home theatre and no fans) It has the big zalman copper flower heatsink, (again to keep it quiet). On taking a closer look, it has 4x512 ram of Corsair memory.

I want it gone and can't be stuffed with trademe so if you flick 2 hundy it's yours
