ubergeeknz: Am I right in saying these are the 2.4Ghz only model?
XPD / Gavin
sbiddle:ubergeeknz: Am I right in saying these are the 2.4Ghz only model?
Yes.
TBH if you want 5Ghz there are far better devices around. The lack of any band steering at present in the UniFi software/hardware is a big issue.
aimsy007: Just to update anyone who is interested. An agreed price with those who have already purchased one or two units is $70 each plus courier cost 50/50. If you would like one, two or more just PM me.

Ruckus or Aerohive.
networkn: Yah I have a real issue with vendors who lock features of their devices away. I don't mind paying for upgrades and support, but baseline features, pass. There is a switch vendor that does that too. I love their gear but simply won't "rent" stuff like that.
How does Ruckus compare to say Engenius?
