I just bought one for nearly twice that, how annoying. I might be keen on a second though.

Yup, possibly interested depending on finances when you land them ;-)

I will probably be interested in 1 or 2.

It is time I upgraded my old AMD Phenom system.

I wonder what size power supply I need to run two with a Intel 5820/X99 motherboard?

I am guessing around 800-850W might be needed.

Ok, after nearly going ahead with the purchase we called the company the guy was saying he was from and they had never heard of him. Lesson learnt... this guy just about got away with 4k of ours.

Sorry guys, wanted to secure us NZers a good price for GPUs... too good to be true

Unfortunately it screamed "scam" to me - not by harts tho.

No real information was given, low price, goods shipped before payment etc.

Lucky no money swapped hands to the "supplier".  :)

Google what details you do have on them, and see what you come up with.

They reported to be a company which when googled was legitimate. So before sending the 4k through that a few colleagues and i had put together, i emailed the companies director. He quickly responded to say that this guy did not exist and to cancel all communications. The Director is taking it further and chasing the person using their details to scam people.

We were so very close to getting done here. I saw all your comments saying it seems too good to be true but all the ducks lined up... right until the end.

I'd like to think that as a group we could approach a manufacturer and get a bulk deal still somehow.
