Any idea on what shipping such a big box to the NI (Palmerston North) would cost?

This is the size my wife wouldn't let me buy about 2.5 years ago, so I had to settle for the 60ST50. Great TV but there's still spare space on the wall! I've dropped many unsubtle hints about going larger and at this price... Further, I've not seen a current affordable new TV I'd replace my plasma with.

Box is 2m long, 1m high and 400mm deep. Would weigh about 50KG with all the packaging.

It would not be cheap.

Mainfreight will charge ~$200 if you drop off and pickup from depots in chch and pn respectively.  ~$315 for door to door.   Not that bad TBH, since I think that price is pretty sharp for the tv itself.

Price is stupid low, but thanks to an idiot on Trademe that's about the going rate for them now. Still reckon they're worth around $1500

Can't argue with you there! It's a great TV.

65" Is too small. am willing to lose some of the beautiful inky blacks for a bigger screen.

I've purchased a 79" Sony 4K Set
