timbosan: @33coupe - The set I have didn't work out for the friend of the OP - they where looking around $1000 for a 65TV60, and I wanted more.  So if you (or anyone else) is still interested let me know.

o.O Deal of the century if they do manage to find one for $1000 or even close to it!  ;-)

Yeah, they said that someone on geekzone sold a 65VT60 for $1000, but I never saw that and cannot find any threads on it.  At that price I would have bought it.

I myself sold an 65ST50 for $1k a couple months, think he is confusing that sale.

Even that was a stupid price and I'm pissed off I had to sell for that as it was still easily worth $2k, but some idiot on TM decided to throw his up for that as he needed the money fast, the market set was.

The VT60 should be around $2200

Went to Dick Smith @ Sylvia Park in Auckland today and they had a few floor model Plasmas at some great prices. 65" VT50 for $854, 60" ST60 for $799 and also a 55" VT50 for $799. I checked the hrs on the ST60 via the help menu and it was quite high at almost 10000 hrs. I couldnt check the VT50 models as they didnt have the remote handy to access the service menu for their hrs. Still pretty good pricing especially for the 65" VT50 even though its an "older" Plasma..

Sony 77" A80J OLED, Integra 60.7, Panasonic UB820, Toshiba HD-XE1, Apple TV 4K, JBL L100T,JBL 18Ti, JBL L20T, Velodyne HGS15
