Alright, without derailing the thread to much, I cant for the life of me find any suitable boxes.

I have found some on Amazon/Ebay, but its over $100 when you include shipping, and I might only need to send out 2-3.

I found These on TM but they look too thick and I was hoping for something thinner. I am going out today to have a look at more Post Shops.

Any ideas?

Ask local Pizza takeaway store if you could buy some pizza boxes?

Might have to go to my local record store at this rate...

Going to take a while to shift these albums I think.....

Open to offers for 1, 2 or all :)

Anybody know of any record stores (Or Other) In Wgtn that will buy your stock? Preferably if they can come to your house to look at it as well that would be an added bonus...

Edit: Found Slow Boat Records. Anybody had any dealings with them?

I
used these guys to sell a heap of LP's, but don't expect unreasonably high prices for your collection.

I have always had good experiences with Slow Boat, but you are very unlikely to get a fraction of the suggested prices you listed earlier from them.

How much do you think from 100 vinyl? How much did they pay you for vinyl you have sold to them?

I had over 300 LP's, some bog standard releases, plus a few hard-to-get.

I'd expect a second-hand record store to pay $1 to $5 for anything already readily available, maybe $5 to $15 for something relatively rare or has a customer specifically looking for, and $20 upwards negotiable for something that is truly rare/collectors item, excellent condition etc.

Hmm dam alright. Thanks for the info.

Obviously they have to make money themselves.

I think the problem is you are expecting too much for these.

Personally I don't think $10 per record is asking too much at all.

Some are worth less, some are worth more.

I've sold a few albums for $20-$30.

Even at $5 each, $350 is still an absolute bargain, IMO.
