It's nice to see a store that is employing competent people, who know what they're doing. I've had the same experience going to Jaycar, and for that, I will keep going back there first before anywhere else.

Yep, Im very happy. Both for getting something going which would otherwise have been thrown away and for the help from the bloke at Jaycar.

It never ceases to amaze me what people are willing to throw away when a simple bit of soldering and a $1.90 capacitor was all it took to repair.

The other common thing thrown away is modems/routers due to a failed power supply.
