floydbloke: Cheeky (some might say insulting wink) offer - $700 cash, can pick up this weekend.

If you offer $800 id accept...

Thanks but sorry mate, it's for my 16yo son and his budget doesn't stretch that far.

No worries mate.

$700 is tempting but just too low I feel. Although I said that before about higher prices and ended up dropping lol.

Hey mate.

I cant find thast model listed on their website so it must be instore only? If so, I'd expect most/all have been sold by now anyway.

I had a quick look and the differences I noticed was 2TB HD and also Full HD screen.

You're right - I missed the resolution sorry. Yours is definitely a better machine, I was just trying to get you to consider whether the slight improvements were worth an extra $200, given yours won't have the same purchaser protection as one from a store. Along with the HP I suggested they have a Toshiba with the same specs (I picked one up yesterday) and some more powerful options in the 800-1000 bracket.

If it's any consolation, it has gone to a good home.  The young fellah works pretty hard to earn his youth-rate. So despite it being a great price, it was a lot of hard graft when you're working part-time getting less than $12 an hour (before tax).

Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.
