I just saw the Stree tview (most probably Google Street view) car driving around Kingsland (from the west towards the city), Auckland at 11:00am today - raced outside to the next street and purposely got captured with both of my thumbs up so I can recognise myself as they blur out faces :P

Keep an eye out for the car in the next little while guys! Who knows what funny poses people can do if you know it's coming to your area!

Nice work :-)

The city the streetview car is operating in can be found at anytime on this site. Scroll to halfway down the page, click on "See where we're currently driving" and select New Zealand in the drop-down box. Not helpful in terms of where the car actually is but useful to know when it's in your town.

Or Island :),

I knew aucklanders didn't believe there was anything worthwhile south of the Bombay hills, but I think saying they live on a island called Auckland is going just a bit far :)
