I haven't personally used a Goldfinder GPS, but they are rubbish according to the Consumer test.

There is a report here, but you need subscriber access to view it:

I don't currently have this, but saw a copy of the report earlier when they had it available for free preview.

Recommended brands are TomTom, Navman and Garmin.

They are also primitive in graphics dept and out of date.
talking from experience.
