Whoops, my bad, The correct link is this unit but I asked the second question and they seemed a bit vague.

Thich does actually remind me, I need a basic GPS logger with no SMS/GSM radio parts.

Does anyone know or has bought one that can do timed traces either every time interval or every 10M for example and had a decent performing GPS in it? prefer with a serial output also but not a requirement.

It's also "drop-shipping" and with the multitude of various "module options"
i'd be a little wary. Get something that is tested locally or DIY and have fun and frustration.

As for basic "logger" modules, I was thinking of the "Qstarz Q1300" as it has an exceptional dBm rating 200k logs and selectable logging intervals and is available from a local supplier eFrontier.

Has anyone tried one?

Almost all my phones have GPS and a multitude of applications but I want someting I can throw on the dash and press 1 button and track and also use with a PC and obviously, much better performance as the phones really do suck.

Yeah the GlobalSat ones on EFrontier look pretty good and not much more expensive considering the piece of mind.
