freitasm: The IDM website is down as well.

They do now have a message on their network status page. Looks to be a widespread outage, emails are also bouncing as 'domain not found', so they aren't queuing emails.

Yeah, my customer hosts their external DNS records with them:
- no website
- no mail
- no remote access (we use A records)

What is the link to the Geekzone ISP outage page? I couldnt find it

Thanks'

Yes, I have a couple of DNS hosted with Orcon. These are not returning anything as well.

Kiwi Web Hosting and iServe services are currently unavilable due to a unschedualed outage

Yes, still down - our MX records must have been available briefly at around 5:30 but back down since.

Not cool at all - Iserve only has our domain name registration but maybe time to move that to our hosting provider - makes me realise we just have multiple points of failure now.

We got rid od Orcon for our voice and data then they bought iserve

Still down. They have had quite a few outages over the last few weeks too, including a big onee exactly a week ago.

Funnily enough their twitter feed says all hosting services were restored an hour ago, but it is still down for me.

The problem is that their network status page doesn't put the time that they posted their updates, only the time of the first posting, so you don't really know when they last updated it. Currently it has been down for over 4 hours.

It's been discontinued due to lack of use.

They've had quite a few outages... ever.

Best thing we did was move away from them and their flaky platform.

iServe seemed to have long proven history a good reputation before Kordia/Orcon acquired it though.

Oh well plenty of proven rock hard er solid alternatives.

iServe used to be very good before Orcon bought them.

I've noticed lots of small outages over the last few weeks. I get on the phone to them as soon as I notice one but they usually come right again while I'm still sitting on hold!

There was an outage on Saturday morning. I rang the Gold Support number, which was meant to guarantee me to speak with a real technician and not just an ordinary support person, and got a message service. Left my name and phone number and they still haven't rung me back.

If I was paying for this service then I'd definitely consider moving.
