My Wellington iTalk line was dead at around 9pm last night (Tuesday 3 July).  Calls out failed, calls in (from my 2degrees mobile) just got silence, not even the ringing tone.  Started working again a bit later.

The Slingshot Network Status page said nothing at the time.  Did this affect anyone else?

Internet was fine.  What makes me suspect that there was something very wrong at the Slingshot end was calling our number from my cellphone and hearing *nothing* after the dialtone -- no ringing tone, no voicemail banner.  Rebooting my ATA didn't help either.

Interesting.. There wasn?t any outages last night, I can see a very slight increase in call failures over the network during the evening but nothing alarming.

It may have become unregistered from our switch temporarily.

If you have any more issues with it let me know and we can investigate further (easier to look while its faulting rather than while its working)

Cheers,

OK.

I also tried making outbound calls at the time using the SIP client in my Android phone -- that didn't work either.  I'm on Slingshot DSL so can't blame someone else's network.  Didn't reboot my router.  If it happens again, what's the best way to reach you -- Geekzone PM?

Hey,

A PM works but only im im here at the time its faulting.

Im around Mon - Friday 730am - 4pm.

Outside of that it would be best to call the call centre and do troubleshooting with a tech there,
0800 89 2000.

Cheers.
