Signed up to a genius plan recently and just got my first bill.

I have been charged a $5 equipment rental charge (and a part charge for my first couple of week)


The plan info clearly states free rental for the modem.  Has anyone had this happen?

Filled in the billing support form on the website earlier this afternoon but haven't heard back yet.

Last time I looked hardware rental was only free on some plans. Are you sure you're on a plan that is supposed to include it for free?
