emails from 2degrees about accounts payment arrive in my home PC with the proper date.
I also have my Nokia 5230 receiving mail. The problem is the 5230 mail(Nokia mail) from 2degrees has the date 01/01/0000 which goes to the bottomof the inbox. I tried using another Nokia C5-03 (telecom phone) with the same result. This is the only email problem I have.
Anybody else have this or know how to fix it?

Yes. I have had it before but ignored it. I have included the Nokia C5-03 earlier and both received the
01/01/0000 today in the Here's your Bill email today. I am unaware of any others.

I will contact you via PM. I know how to get ordinary email headers but not mobile ones. 2degrees send the bill to my xtra mail address. how nokia mail extract it I have no idea. How to extract anything intelligent from the phone I also have no idea. I was hoping someone else had" been there done that"

If the date/time shows up fine in your desktop/client then it is a phone problem (which I am more inclined to believe). The headers will tell the truth.

Have you checked if any software updates are in the Nokia update tool for these handsets?

thats what I origonally thought. I origonally had the Nokia 5230 on 2degrees via vodafone. Now it is direct to 2degrees. I am in Cambridge. I added the Nokia C5-03 which has a A Telecom number and is connected to Telecom mobile.I have deleted everything and set it up again several months ago.Both phones are synching time via the network. Still looking for someone with the same problem.

yes .both phones are up to date.I have removed gig finder as it was a nuisance and data waster.Both phones have been saved and reset ok. A oint worth noteing is which your question raised is both mobiles were on wifi at home when the email s arrived. Clutching at straws a bit but may help.

I am not thinking of phone time, but email client on the phone having a bug and not parsing correctly. It would be a lot easier if you could confirm the date you see on a webmail or desktop client.

both phones were set to local time which matched time date etc in my pc. The mobiles were set to local time. Changed both to GMT+ 13.00 Wellington. Automatic updates to off. Will see how this goes next bill time. Thanks for the help.

I have had a look at the email headers as requested by the OP and all dates between servers and final destination are correct.
