Fortunately we weren't affected, until an email update at about 2pm said it was all fixed, and then our international connectivity stopped working! It's been back again since about 2:30pm but still not 100%.

We had a bit of an issue with out layer7 inspection box. It decided it didn't want to forward some peoples traffic and thought it was cool to not tell us about it.

Should be coming right now, took a while to find the root cause.

Yea stopped working after we got the email saying it was fixed. lol sounds like bad timing. Currently running on backup ADSL connection with another ISP. When is it safe to switch back to Orcon?

Nope, it doesn't look like it is.
I suppose that's a good excuse not to update the network status page: "but you wouldn't be able to load that anyway!"

only lost connectivity recently... blackholing traffic, still get bgp routes.

(and ticket is lodged already, just waiting to see what happens)

I'm in Dunedin on LLU and can't really get anywhere on the net (was surprised I could get to here). Time to read a book.

Traffic steering for caching. Not for spying.
Looks at protocols and makes choices where to send the packets.
