Snap’s new @Home and @Work offerings will truly let their customers “love their internet” and enjoy the very best broadband performance, at market leading prices.

Starting at just $85 a month, customers can get superfast VDSL2 broadband with download speeds of up to 70 megabit/s, and upload speeds of 5-10 megabit/s. This is between three to four times as quick on the download link as standard ADSL2 and up to ten times as fast on the upload link. This makes a massive difference if you have several people sharing the connection, work from home, or like to share large files with others.

Snap also sees to it that you can use your high-speed VDSL2 connection to the full, as even on the lowest residential plan a substantial 100 gigabytes (GB) of data per month is included.

Even better, new residential customers who sign up for two years with Snap get another 100GB per month of data on top, an extra saving of $15 per month.
For users requiring a phone service, plans start at just $95/month. All VDSL2 options include standard connection and wiring charges as part of the monthly fee.
“As the leading VDSL2 provider in NZ, we’re pleased to offer these new pricing options in to the market. Snap sees VDSL2 as a stepping stone to our top performing UFB products, once fibre becomes more readily available” says James Koers, Snap General Manager Retail.

“VDSL and UFB services place much higher demands on the network than ADSL services. It’s important for consumers to choose a provider that can support these demands. Snap’s investment in core network infrastructure and international connectivity over the past 12 months allow us to offer these higher bandwidth products with absolute confidence”, says Mark Petrie, Snap CEO.

The investment has paid off for Snap in terms of network performance and robustness, as can be seen in the least round of Truenet’s broadband measurement figures. https://www.truenet.co.nz/articles/may-2013-broadband-performance

Snap’s new pricing takes effect from Tuesday 9th July. Existing contracts will be re-rated to the new pricing during August 2013. The VDSL2 introductory offer applies to all contracts ordered until 31st August 2013.

Hey Ralph, can existing customers switch over to this new plan and get the extra 100GB :) :)
I still on one of the old vdsl plans since thew last time you updated it, it wasn't worth it for me to do so, but this new plan with the extra 100GB looks great...

Hi Ralph,

Presume the extra 100GB a month would also apply to those on ADSL moving to VDSL?

Very nice!

Does the extra 100GB count as an "addon\datapack" and therefore give free downloads from 1am-7am?

Sorry, do you mean the additional 100GB data pack for $15 per month or the 100GB built into the base price?
