Have just switched my phone (Samsung GT-I9000 Galaxy S) to the 2degrees prepay $19 with texts, minutes and data.

So far so good.

The question I have is that on the 2degrees site, you can choose to have the internet and mms settings sent as a text to your phone. Seeing as my phone is quite old, it doesn't appear in the list of phones, so i've manually entered and setup the APN's for Internet (working) and MMS (Suppose it's working, havem't tried yet)

The settings have been entered as per the 2degrees site http://www.2degreesmobile.co.nz/android-settings.

The Galaxy S also has a MCC setting (530) and MNC setting (24). Are these values correct for 2degrees, as they are not mentioned on the 2degrees android setting .

Yep, those are correct. Using the GT-I9001 settings sent to your phone should also work. You can also use the 'Get settings' function that's on your SIM and should appear as an icon on your phone.
