I know that Snap offer ADSL and VDSL naked. So why not UFB naked as well?

Yes I could just not use it but then it is still extra stuff to worry about. I have flatmates therefore a tollbar is essential. And typically it is either hard to get one or you have to pay extra for it. I left Orcon solely for that reason - was otherwise happy with them - and I had been with them for 7 years at the time.

Also don't like the idea of paying extra for something I will never use. I see that Phone Vs Naked costs $5 per month on ADSL and $10 per month on VDSL. So oviously a cost to Snap of providing a phone service (even if it is VOIP)

Will hopefully be signing up next month - just waiting on the Chorus maps to update.

It needs to be setup to work, with UFB we don't use our phone line, and the only device synced to the Fritz for calls is my mobile. So depending on your flatmates it might be easy enough to do with no one knowing about the phone line.

I am hoping for a naked UFB option from Snap at some stage that I can move to (currently with them on their Lightwave Ultra). We don't want a phone either but the Snap experience to date has been great and in the end not a huge issue.
