Is there any indication that the VF $5/day overseas roaming plan , or similar, will be made available to 2D customers?

To use your existing NZ plan overseas for a fixed daily rate (only if you use the phone on any day) is a great incentive. Usually I purchase a local SIM card which varies in price and is often valid for 30 days.

As most of my trips are short duration, and I don't use the phone everyday, this sort of plan is attractive.

I don't want to move away from 2D as I have been very happy with them.....

I would love to see this, especially to a few key places eg Australia, USA, UK.

They had data packs for these places a few years ago but they didn't last long.
