Recently i noticed the firmware on my NF4V had been upgraded without my knowledge.
Though at the time i had a fault logged with Orcon due to frequent fibre disconnection issues.
Is this something that happens automatically or did the support staff do this?
I wasn't aware that Orcon had this capability, is it common practice for ISP's to push out firmware updates?

Anyway i also noticed the IPSEC feature had been removed, i was using that feature, what a shame now its gone....

When you do a factory reset, it will check our systems to see if you are running the latest approved firmware, if not it will upgrade it.

Yes it's common for ISPs to manage firmware updates. Most big ISPs use TR069 for device management these days.
