Looks like this is now active in the CBD!

Anyone seen it outside of the CBD?

Seems to be that way all the way over here on K Drive for some of my colleagues. Although my trusty Lumia800 reports 3G only with latency of 71ms, d/l of 3.8Mb/s and u/l of .9Mb/s - still awesome for what I need it for and I can't recall it ever falling apart when watching any YouTube or other streamed content, anyways.

Is this using the 1800MHz spectrum?  Is it true that the COWs have a 1800MHz license already?

Yes, I herd that 4G was now live.

Sure enough my iphone 5 reports LTE for it's connection type.
The fastest I have been able to get so far (from multiple places around town and different times) is 17Mb/s which strikes me as at the slow end of the 4G scale?

Is this what we should expect?

The maximum that you are likely to experience is around 100Mbps with typical speeds being in the order of 30-50Mbps. At times of heavy network traffic you could get lower than this.

Yesterday I had 58M down and 27M up with 38ms latency at a restaurant on hood street with a Sony Z1, definitely faster than VDSL at home. Thanks 2Degrees!
