My wife has a 2degrees on account Sim in her phone. The phone is a 2degrees sourced device. We are unable to get Internet access to lock in. We have set the APN etc  for Internet and Internet +MMS both manually and per provisioning text from 2 Degrees. We have done this individually as well. After loading and rebooting we are able to access one Web site then after that we get offline error.

She has all the settings done as advised, that is Roaming on, Mobile Data on etc etc

The Handset is a Huawei Ascend P7 L-10

Ideas ?

Checked your data balance? On account plans will not use casual data.

Also, not sure what you mean by Internet + mms Apn? If you mean in one Apn then that's unlikely to work properly. Try a single Apn with internet only (delete all the others).

I realize this is probably a long-shot. You don't happen to be on a 2 Degrees Zone Plan and trying to use data out of area?

She has a Australia/NZ free calling with carry over data if that gives a clue, I am not sure of the name of it.

Hi, have you checked your settings as on here - Android settings ?

If you have and it's still not working after rebooting please call 0800 022022 option 5 to speak with our Data Support team or PM your wife's number, name and an alternative contact number and we can look into it.

Cheers

I have done this a few times, the settings lock in, can access the Internet once then get "offline" errors. Check the settings and they are still OK just cannot connect.

It is vital that she can access the web whilst away from the office.

Is she able to connect to data with her SIM in another 3G device or with another 2degrees SIM in her Huawei?

Please can you PM us more details, including -

Her number (plus name, address and DOB for authentication)
Alternative contact number
Exact location (street name, number where she's experiencing the issue)
What signal is showing on screen, E, H, H+, R3G etc and how many signal bars are showing
What the Network mode is set to
If Network Selection is on Automatic
Date/time of any 'offline errors'

We can get Tech Support to follow up to try to resolve her issue.

Cheers
^POB

Might have finally fixed it. As with Bluetooth I redid the settings as I had done 24+times doing exactly the same and it now seems to be working. She will let me know during the day if if fails again.
