I'm researching a problem I'm having, and I've found (via google) a website which shows an Orcon NF4V with firmware build timestamp 201408221004.  I also notice my NF4V has firmware build # 201405271001.

1. Does anyone know what the most recent firmware is ?
2. Are the NF4V's supposed to get the most recent firmware pushed out automatically ?

Whilst I'm happy to raise a helpdesk call if required, it's not worth wasting everyone's time if that website information isn't correct and/or that firmware got withdrawn (it happens), or similar.

I don't suppose there's a changelog anywhere....  Would be interesting to know if newer firmware may also fix my other problem.

Beside the links you gave above, I used personally firmware ending 019 from Netcomm (not Orcon's TR069 pushed one) and more recently firmware ending 022 from Netcomm.

Yes it voids maybe support from Orcon because I went ahead and used a non-Orcon branded firmware, but I don't need their tech support much if at all.
I would prefer to know and choose how my modem updates than my ISP handling it.

Re your "problem post", I would take a backup of your current config/firmware, then try the 022 ending firmware from Netcomm to see if it fixes any issues you have. If it fails to work for your issue, you can rollback :)

As for a changelog, I am not aware of Orcon having anything public on this.

This R5B022 you mention, this isnt Orcon firmware is it? Its the one mentioned in the link above, here:
http://support.netcommwireless.com/product/vdsl/nf4v

I am running R5B019 in my NF4V, and do suffer from the DHCP drop issue from time to time.
GURNV5.OT132A-8-NC.Orcon-R5B019.EN

Any idea what Orcon has done to their firmware?
Does Voice still work on this R5B022

Is the firmware I am running, still the latest from Orcon?

Thanks

I'm also running R5B019 aswell on on my NF4V I've no idea if the VOIP still works I haven't yet tried it although I'm seriously thinking about it and if it all turns to custard then I can always just reinstall the older R5B019 orcon version
