So I am using Slingshot fibre and italk because I want to use my own R7000 router and ATA instead of Slingshot's router.

iTalk works most of the time but from last week I can't make outgoing calls anymore (incoming calls still work)

The issue was replicated on the softphone and Slingshot confirmed the issue on their test bench as well, that was last Thursday and it's still not resolved (ticket still active).

Just wondering if anyone had similar experiences?

Probably not much help, but I had a terrible experience going from NDSL+iTalk to UFB+phone (it's not billed as iTalk), which involved the service being cut off some days, unable to make calls other days, and issues that came and went when restarting the router. It took them weeks to "fix" the issues: one by firmware upgrade, the other by creating a billing mess that's still not resolved (I'm still being billed after I cancelled all services.)

Problem finally fixed by Skavin from Slingshot.

Looks like there is an issue with iTalk where for some reason when the password is changed (automatically by the system), it was still cached on Slingshot's end, causing authentication error when dialing out. A reset needs to be performed on their end to flush out the cached password.

Hopefully a permanent fix is implemented soon.
