I note how the com com has allowed chorus to charge more for copper services. Also how some other ISP's are moving to increase pricing of their copper services.

I wonder what Snapdegrees will do here because they charge the same for UFB & copper at the moment.
I'd not like to see the 'shared' price rise, as that would mean I am subsidizing copper (even more) with my UFB connection - which seems a bit rude to me.
I'd probably cast my eye about for a better UFB deal if that happened.

Hey UncleArthur,

We are currently assessing the impact of the Commerce Commission’s decision on our prices and will advise customers on the outcome as soon as we can.

This is slightly more complicated for us, as you point we do have just the two price points covering all service variants (ADSL, VDSL and 30/10 UFB), so we'll be working hard to try and make sure we aren't disadvantaging our UFB customers on that same price point while maintaining our simplistic broadband pricing structure.

Be sure to keep an eye out, we hope to have something sorted soon.

Thanks

The team at 2degrees
