I no longer have an internet connection with Orcon but still use my free  @orcon.net.nz email address.

I want to forward all @orcon.net.nz emails to my gmail but it looks the the setting is not available in the web mail settings like it is for alot of other providers.

I've read that it can be setup under the "My Orcon" section but I no longer have access to that as I have no other services with orcon anymore.

Is there a way I can acheive this?

Thanks

Can you access your Orcon email from a POP3 interface?

You can configure Gmail to FETCH the email from the remote (i.e. Orcon) system if you can't configure the Orcon system to forward it.

From Gmail, go into settings, and look at the "Accounts and Import" tab.  There you can setup a remote POP3 server, and Gmail will regularly fetch mail from it.

Thanks.

I currently have it setup this way, but I find that gmail automatically polls at different intervals and often increases the time to over 1 hour.

I'd like to automatically forward if it's possible as it should be much faster.
