I got a cryptic text today saying my pay monthly number has been removed from my broadband account and no longer qualifies for a $10 monthly discount. I don't know why the number has been deleted, I went on line to put the number back in and it wouldn't let me. Do some pay monthly mobile rates no longer qualify for the discount?

A wild guess - someone else is using your mobile number on their own account to get the discount. (Randomly typing in mobile numbers until the system accepts a number). No idea if there is any matching of mobile and broadband account details. As I don't know if 2deg have moved to a common billing system yet for both mobile and broadband.

Hi RiskAdverse,

Unfortunately there was a data mismatch in our systems that affected the discount on a small number of accounts, causing these notifications. You should have received contact from care over the weekend advising to ignore this while we got it all fixed back up for you. All is back to normal now :)

Thanks
