I know this has been asked a number of times but I thought I'd start a new thread as it's been a while since I last saw any news on this...

I have selfish reasons for this - I have a new job and the mobile is 2D, as is my personal device...and my personal device is better than the device I got from work...would be nice to combine the two without using my personal mobile number (I work in a BYOD=permissible environment).

Any updates?

Hiya,

It's been a while since I've kept an eye on this, I am aware of some stuff but not sure of eta or what can be shared. I'll request an update when i'm back in the country towards the end of the week.

Nick

Just purchased a new Samsung S20+ from 2d and this is showing e-sim options in the menu, Something must be coming or generally the carriers would request the software build to hide these options

Man I sure as hell hope so. The lack of 2D eSIM forced me to move from 2D to Spark (RIP my pre-launch account and unbroken decade of service), and it's safe to say I am really not enjoying the experience. In order not to increase my monthly spend I've dropped back to monthly pre-paid plans, except that they're not monthly so I always have a few days of no outgoing service (luckily the other SIM covers the gap). Also I get bombarded with text messages notifying my that my data has renewed, then another about data stack, then another about billing, then ... and so on. The day I can swap back cannot come fast enough.
