Does anybody know at what point a 2degrees prepay SIM expires?

Their terms & conditions page seems to have section 20 missing

If your Prepay Account terminates or expires in accordance with clause 20(c)

Seems its a little over a year from mine that I let lapse after they dropped 2g support so were useless for me in my GPS trackers. I was shuffling them around to keep them active but not worth the effort once I have exhausted the credit on them. They just sort of disappeared from the 2degrees profile that they were on. The name is still there but no connections when its opened up. Annoyingly I cant put a name onto the newer sims in there so I have to keep cross referencing with my phone contacts to see what sim is what.

edit: Year from topup. Not sure if it has the extra month or whatever like vodafone do.

They usually get deactivated about a week before you remember to check if there was a calendar reminder set (bugger, there wasn't).

ETA: okay, it might have been more than a week. Seriously thought I had a reminder set.

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.

I have a cellular iPad with a 2d sim that is data shared from my main 2d account. The sim recently stopped working. Guess due to a lack of top up. Annoying though as I had no need to ever top it up.

My understanding was data sharing keeps the SIM alive. I'll need to take action if it doesn't.

If it was using shared data then it should not have expired unless you actually hadn't used any data for over a year (the mechanism that keeps it alive only works if you use it). So if it did expire, you could log a ticket about it. If for no other reason than I would definitely like to know if there are accounts expiring that should not be.
