Is your SIP phone connected to the same provider as your internet or is it over the top?

You specifically don't want to port the number to a 3rd party service? Looks like 2D will give the details out though.

Thanks Guys,

I have been with Stuff internet they have voice service through a mobile app but I worked out the service was offered through 2 talk and so setup the Yealink device, so pwner the it answer is yeah nah yeah as if I move I will loose the 2talk service and the 2 degrees deals looks to be offering me this for free if I move.

wratterus it looks like its doable thanks for the config settings.

Not quite clear on what your final decision was, but yes it SHOULD work on 2degrees as i believe 2talk supports NAT traversal.

But also as you said we have a good voice offer you can take up as well and use your 3rd party device which SHOULD work.

As with all BYOD devices and setups we can't promise anything.

I'm with 2 degrees.

I have a 2 standard handsets plugged into my fritz box. One is set up with the 2 degrees phone offer, the other plug is configured with a local Melbourne voip phone number in my fritz box settings.

Sorry this doesn't help with your specific setup but could be an option of that fails.

You can also set the SIP phone up to connect to the Fritz!Box directly (so 2degrees control the Fritz!Box, your SIP phone uses that as a SIP server): https://service.avm.de/help/en/FRITZ-Box-Fon-WLAN-7490/015/hilfe_fon_howto_ip-telefon
