Hi,

Ive been keeping an eye on my data useage for this month as it seems I used a bit too much in the first few days so have to keep an eye on it to avoid going over my limit for the month...

Noticed the upload amount being higher than the download for a couple of days and thought that was a bit strange...  Seems Orcon is onto that now, and then yesterday I notice an amount of (NEGATIVE) - 600MB which puts me on 50MB for 5 days!

Anyone else have the same thing going on?  Anyone know whats going on and will it get sorted out soon?  Just dont want to get to the end of the month and find an extra charge for data that I may or may not have used!

Ive been streaming from TVNZ cos I can now with the O-Zone (awesome concept - I love it! :) )  so maybe its teething problems to do with that???

Doing your best is much more important than being the best.

The upload accounting problem is mentioned on the Network Status page.

My usage is also (currently) showing the first five days usage have been completely cancelled out by a large negative amount on 27/5.  I guess they either did that to make amends for the stuff up, or it is an additional stuff up!

props to orcon if they credited more data back than they needed to on purpose, that would be a nice gesture.

if not, how about updating the status page to show that its now much lower than it should be instead of much higher than it should be!

Uurrgh..my data use still not fixed( typing Monday 1042 hrs on June 1 )...and dont speak to me about the Ozone! I am a heavy gamer using 2142 on gamers.net.nz. According to my usage I have gained a big 5 Mb of free use ..seems the game server is not being classed as OZone even though I know it is being hosted by them.

Come on Orcon..I have supported you for great service from the day I changed over from Telecom and now :-(

I dont suppose it has anything to do with slashing staff numbers and increasing fees by any chance ?

Will check if the gamer sites are on o-zone or not and get back to you.

Do you know the IP address of the 2142 server by chance?

Since the 23rd May start date I have played _a lot_ and have racked up a princely 10.55 Mb of free use by O Zone....now allowing for the data reset on 30 31 May which did happen I have played heaps on Monday 1st June because I wasnt going to work and would have expected usage to be 20 -80Mb ...its just not being recorded as free

** still an Orcon supporter though!!
