From Here: http://www.flossie.com/great-new-zealand-chinwag/

Remember though that it takes at least 2 to Chinwag - Nominate some more of your friends or family to get amongst it as well. If at least five (and no more than 10) of them sign up then you’ll all go in the draw to win a Samsung C3110 Mobile Phone loaded with $100 credit (for you) plus a Samsung E1100 for each of your crew also loaded with $100 credit!

[Excuse me 2Degrees if you read this, while I digress]

Sometime ago I was told one telco wouldn't put ads on Geekzone "because people there talk about us anyway, we don't need advertise there".

Well, it seems you can win 2Degrees handsets in almost every other site in New Zealand - except on Geekzone. It may pay to stop reading Geekzone now while you can otherwise you won't win something...

Perhaps because if someone nominates 10,000 'friends', they all nominate each other, and then one of them wins the draw, 2d will be forced to give 10,000 people a free phone and $100 credit.  PRetty expensive prize

I disagree, i'd say the majority of geekzone users would be quite happy to win any phone for free. Or you're hinting at something...
