Folks, I am meeting Eric Hertz, 2degrees CEO this week (Friday at this stage) here in Wellington. If you have questions please post here.

Note this is not for discussion yet - just questions for now.

When will 2degrees expect to have their own network throughout nz ready so that the customers do not need to roam on vodafone network?

Are there future plans for bulk data rates similar to VF and XT ?

i.e. 100mb for $10 per month (or better)

From my Twitter: "why is 2degrees not supporting Blackberry?"

Can you ask if they will deploy a 900Mhz 3g in urban areas unlike vodafone who only let the whopwhop people get it?

When can we expect to see call and data plans?

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

Will we ever get bulk text addons, like vodafone or telecom's $10 txting etc?

Yes, same for SMS messaging. The per-minute rates are great, but compared to Prepay + Addons for SMS & Data, it's hard to justify a switch :-/

My questions:

When 2degrees launches their own 3g network, will it be possible to roam on Vodafone's 2100mhz and 900mhz 3g network?

Will 2degrees support Video calling and will it be possible to use it to call Vodafone, Telecom XT and Overseas?

Will we see some Data packs once 3g is launched?

Also I agree with the comments made NZ has become accustomed to using Text to communicate as the per min calling charges on Vodafone and Telecom have been very high. Will 2degrees look at offering some Text bundles for those who want to move away from VF and Telecom? (basically to keep them happy)

Also I note the agreement with Telecom for being able to provide something similar to Vodafone's "local zone", when does 2degrees envision they will have this up and running?

I'd also like to ask about the twitter integration, which is the biggest loss for me in the jumping of ship (sad, I know!), what's the timeframe/official word?
