I was in the supermarket* the other day and I saw the stand for the 2degrees handsets, but no sim cards or any information whatsoever on how exactly I buy one from the supermarket. It was busy as hell and theres never anyone at the service counter. Now, I've got that SIM in the post, or at least I think I have, but I'dve bought a sim instead of waiting if I could.

*(woolworths the palm, shirly, chch; to point fingers)

I got one from Countdown on Moorehouse Ave. They had a sim card redeeming thing you take up to the service desk to get the sim card. I think most supermarkets they sell them only at the checkouts or service desk.

Woolworths is fail. No wonder they can't even do this right.

The stand has cards on it that say "take to checkout to get your SIM".

The SIM's are too much of a theft target if left on display.

Really? Countdown Pt Chev had the SIM cards just stuck on the stand when I bought one. It made it just one of those random impulse purchases rather than "do I really need another phone number?" (or three)

there are card board pockets with sims in plastic in the back hanging next to the checkout on a blue stand with 2degrees on it.
