I posted this on the slingshot forums and no one seems to bother helping me none of the mods nothing I cant get through to the crap call center for help so this is my last resort if I cant get help here I am going to switch isp im just fed up with all the issues we have it because its always the same issue this issue keeps coming back and its really annoying so heres the story.

About a week ago I turned on my modem and checked my stats and for some reason my sync speed has dropped from the usual 4919kbps to 834/971 Kbps I had a problem back in September and my sync speed was dropping and my modem was disconnecting and that was fixed but now my sync speed is playing up again... but this time no disconnections. Ive restarted the modem numerous times. I have 2 modems both report the same sync speed. My line attenuation is also at about 53db but I say it and say it again MY LINE HAS ALWAYS BEEN STABLE AT THIS ATTENUATION (sorry for the caps had to get that through to some people) after our line was fixed the first time we had no more disconnections and the speed was great. The 2nd time before we had problems before this one I think there was a problem at our exchange and it was on slingshots end which caused our sync speed to drop about a day later after they pushed a button at the exchange it was fixed again my theory is that someone at slingshot thinks our line is unstable when its not and has mucked around with our broadband profile because since our line has been fixed back in september it cant be on our end unless...some how water has got into the line again and is causing these issues but as i said when we had water in our line the 2nd time that was causing disconnections and was fixed. Now your probably going to say well ring the call centre well ive tried and its impossible to get through wasted hours of my time and life. Im sorry if it seems like im ranting on but im really annoyed this sync speed issue keeps coming back PLEASE if you are from slingshot and read this I could do with some help.

Not sure what you mean no-one bothered to help, there's two pages of people offering assistance to you, including a mod (who is not a slingshot employee).

You'll really need to talk to one of the tech support people, they're the only people who will be able to assist you.

The Call Centre is open weekends and that's probably a better time to call, give it a go then if you can.
