I have just added a 50mb data pack to my Galaxy S and when trying to use it, I get no internet connection. I have APN etc set up after having them sent to my phone from the 2degrees website. Help. All I have is full signal bars with a 'R' above, shouldn't there also be a 3g icon?

Should have an H for HSDPA. What APN setup do you have?

Are the options Use packet data and Data roaming ticked?
Is Network mode set to auto mode?

APN settings look fine as they are the same as mine.

And is there a green dot next to the Internet APN in the APN list? And no dots next to any other APNs (if you have any).

The problem was, data roaming wasn't enabled - doh. It's working fine now.
