We've lost all phone line communication since 2am. This means that our site has not been alarmed since then.

I am trying to contact CallPlus as they are our telecoms provider. There is no replay from anyone at the business.

Does anyone at all know how we can contact someone at the contact centre?

There contact info on there website says,

Phone
General enquiries , business and technical support

Freephone: 0800 89 5000
Fax: 0800 89 55 55
From overseas: +64 9 915 7575

You can call us anytime between 8am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Business Faults can be logged 24 hours a day,
7 days a week.

So you can call them Anytime as long as it's between 8am and 5:30pm on a weekday.
But you can leave them a message at anytime.

There network status says there is nothing wrong.

Have you tried calling any of those numbers? Because we have been ringing them since 2am this morning and can't raise a human or even a voice mail to leave a message. We have also rung Slingshot as their "offspring company". They couldn't raise them either.

It's simply not god enough for a telecommunicatins company in the 21st century.

I'm trying them now. I've called there tech support number from my cellphone and
been waited for 15mins. Tried there other options but the don't seem to connect to a human.

Not very good considering that they are the business division and should offer better service than their retail division Slingshot. Not to good as it's the same support numbers at there new Connect Lite service.

We have now managed to speak to someone after a wait of 1 hour on the phone. They are looking into the situation. We are having to employ alternative security measures for the next 36 hours because we can't rely on the phone and alarm system.

Unfortunately this is the second time in two months that our organisation has had an issue with CallPlus. This means that we will be seriously looking at the contract - obviously our business isn't worthwhile for them.

Your site would still be alarmed, just not monitored. Have you thought of a cellular back up for the alarm ?
(A monitored alarm only tells someone, that someone has set the alarm off, it doesn't stop them from breaking in)
