Just sent a MMS from an iPhone on TNZ to my N1 on 2D.  It sent okay and I get it notified in Handsent and a Download icon. But when I try to download, I get Current Unable to Download. Please try again later.

Anybody know what that is caused by?

I am pretty sure all the MMS settings are correct in my phone.

Staying in Wellington. Check out my AirBnB in the Wellington CBD.  https://www.airbnb.co.nz/h/wellycbd  PM me and mention GZ to get a 15% discount and no AirBnB charges.

I would say the MMS settings are incorrect as the handset can't download the PXT

Have you tried sending a PXT from your 2Degrees number to your 2Degrees number?

Double check your settings -

MMS Settings
WAP Gateway Port (WAP2): 8080
WAP Gateway Port (WAP1): 9201
WAP gateway IP: 118.148.1.118

Homepage: http://mms.2degreesmobile.net.nz:48090
APN: mms

More info here - http://www.2degreesmobile.co.nz/settings.

Check your current APNs in General Settings and in Message Settings make sure it reflects this, i.e. APN is 'mms' or '2degrees mms'.

Turned out to be a strange condition in the phone where it was connected to wifi but not able to connect to 3G for some reason. I fiddled with the settings (not MMS ones) and got the phoe onto 3G even though I am in a wifi zone. Then the messages were send and received okay.

You should be able to stay connected to wifi while it sets up a 3G connection to send/recieve MMS. You do have separate APNs for internet and mms defined (not a combined APN type)? And only one APN of type mms?
