on the 26th of Feb 2011, i requested to sign up with Orcon for BestDealEver promotion.
i gave them my previous provider information and all to churn me over, I personally asked if they required my previous provider account information was told NO, he gave me my new number and all, and as i already have Internet connection on the line there is no Connection fees.

so great, gave them my information and waited for confirmation email, within the next few days got a confirmation that my connection would be ready by  4th March.
4th March came and gone, rang them on 5th, waited on the phone for 10 to 15 Minutes just to talk to someone, was told my order was put through as a new connection so got rejected , fine the guy said he will put the request through for me again, this time round they wanted my ASID id from my previous provider ok fine called my previous provider for my ASID (remember this is a UNIQUE ID for my Line) provided this to orcon, they put it through once more, i was told i will be given a credit for my first month.

so  on the 12th March i got a confirmation email saying my connection will be ready by 15th March, great so third time lucky and one of the supervisor finally fixed the issue once and for all and got me connected on the 15th March, so at this stage connection was working, i lost the number the guy promised me in the first place, fine i couldnt careless about the number as long as my connection is working.

on the 24th March i got the first bill for 15th March to 22nd March plus one month in advance, looked under my account for the credit that was promised by the supervisor, was not on my account so here i am again calling and waiting in the phone queue for 15 minutes or so waiting for someone to talk to, i was told there is no record of anywhere on the system that i was promised a credit by the supervisor at all. so they now put a request through for a credit for me. next day i got the credit on my account.

so great. im happy with my speed and connection, however today i notice on my account i am now charged for a new connection fee that i was told that there is no connection fee as i have an existing connection.

this is a JOKE ORCON, APRIL FOOLS is long GONE!!! its great to be one of the top 5 ISP that screw people around like you GUYS DO.

Sincerely YOURS
P-ed OFF CUSTOMER!!!!

Did you ask to speak to someone in New Zealand like everyone else? Oh wait their contact centre is in NZ... So what's the difference between onshore and offshore since noone seems to do a good job in telecommunication industry.

Orcon suck, try waiting for 4 months for them to fix a problem with your internet connection.
