Hi
Just had a quite strange experience yesterday.
I called my grandpa at 13:58pm, but he missed the first call.
Then I called him again at 13:59:56 pm, I dont know whether the call is connected or not, because I saw an incoming call from him at about 14:00pm.
The call lasted about 1min and 48 sec.

I was just checking my usage record on Your 2degrees this morning.
And I saw a 3min connection for calling my grandpa yesterday afternoon.

Which means my grandpa got charged for calling for 2 min from vodafone, and I got charged for 3 min for a connection about 2min and 6sec from 2degrees at the same time.

Is this possible at all, calling and receiving call from the same person at the same time???

It seems to me, I called him first and got connected, then he called me couple of seconds later, and the call is connected too, and we both got charged for the calls that are running parallel at the same time.

Looks quite ridiculous to me.

Yes, that's definitely possible. Happens to me sometimes when I'm playing phone tag like that.

You must exercise patience, grasshopper, and allow the caller to get back to you!

Yip, my phone can do two calls at once. Have you ever had a call come in while you're already on the phone and put the first person on hold?

Yep, I know phones can do that, but I only know you can connect to more than one call from different people.
Now I know, you can be connectd to the same person twice at the same time.

I've seen it before.. someone picks the phone up and accidentally flash hooks to put the other person on hold.

even though they were the same phones you technically had two phone calls in place and therefore you will be charged for two phone calls. pretty simple really.

I have an iPhone so they have a nice 'hang up and answer' button that solves this issue quite nicely.
