Hi all,

Something interesting shows up on my Orcon internet usage Statement.

Today, I've got 11gb of Negative internet usage on download and -573MB on upload.

Anyone got the same negative usage? is that just a temporary error or I can start download more stuff?

If you look thru the orcon forum you find a few threads of usage meter issues in the past few months. Maybe they are adjusting your usage for past inaccuracies?

There was a thread about this on gp a few weeks ago, they ended up removing the negative readings and people ended up with massive overages, I would be fairly careful.

Gidday

I managed to get fully up and running yesterday and when I looked at my account I had over a gig usage for that day from 12 noon - no one had been home till after 4pm.  I was a bit worried about that, but today the data figue is negative and increasing towards zero as the evening moves on.

I can only assume that data use was overstated on 15 August and that's why the credit data was placed.

I emailed Orcon support and they are very disappointing. Basically they gave me some SB answer said the meter will be back in couple days and totally avoided my question on what usage meter should I rely on, if I overused my data due to incorrect and misleading information from that data meter.

Not good enough.
