Hi,

I just found about 2 degrees toolbox on the market. it looks really nice and useful. My only concern is it is asking me for my password and phone number.

I mean, I don't know the developper, don't know who he is, what he does and I don't feel really safe giving away my password to a non-official app.

Has anyone had any issue with this app? Do you feel safe using it?

Why is 2degrees not implementing their own app?? That shouldn't be very hard...

If I remember rightly it was made by a geekzoner, cant recall though. For what its worth, nothing has been stolen from me and I have been using it for about 5 months.

That app is not the same as the one made by Winter. Winter's app is a widget only

Like any android App, its all about trust.

The app itself was not created by 2degrees. If you trust that the app developer isn't sending your details to another server, that is fine. However if it is, it isn't a 2degrees problem

I've had the toolbox on my android phone for six months with no issues; it seems like a really useful app

Hi - I'm the developer of the app. The only way I can get the information is by using your login details. If your worried, you can clone the source on github and build it yourself.

A fantastic app and my thanks to the author. This is an app that by rights 2degrees should have provided from the outset.

2degrees should give the author at least lifetime free data for the great tool he has provided.

Regards, John.
